WDS

Summary

WDS stands short for Wireless Distribution System. It is a mode of connecting wireless accesspoints on MAC-layer, forming one big network. The connected APs exchange information about the connected clients and respond accordingly. Amongst other things this allows for clients to freely roam between the APs.
